Armor Shield provides an important protective layer between a vinyl swimming pool liner and its sand or soil base. Unlike traditional foam padding, Armor Shield is a Polypropylene Geotextile blend that minimizes cuts and punctures to the vinyl liner caused by rocks, roots, grass and even GLASS! Armor Shield also reduces convective heat loss and provides a comfortable floor pad for the comfort of pool goers.
Our Program
We are so confident of the benefits and overall protection Armor Shield provides that we will extend the warranty of your GLI Splash Series Above Ground Liner* from 20/1 years to 25/3 years upon installations that include the purchase of our ARMOR SHIELD.
If you would happen to experience any problem with your liner because of a manufacturing defect, GLI will replace or repair your liner within your first three years of ownership for FREE.
Please note:Liner Doctors® Above Ground Liners offered by GLI Pool Products are not eligible for a warranty increase since the Extended Warranty Protection Program is offered as a courtesy feature of the Liner Doctors® program.
Warranty Assistance
At GLI, we take our commitment to honoring all of our product warranties very seriously. Our promise to you is that redeeming your warranty will be simple, easy and painless. Please just be certain to keep a DATED copy of your purchase invoices for both your GLI liner and your Armor Shield floor protector for your personal records. If an imperfection should be detected or if a problem would arise, simply send a copy of the affected product to our Customer Care department along with a photo/digital image of the defective area. Moreover, your warranty will immediately be enacted and a replacement liner or a repaired liner will be issued and sent to you as soon as possible.
