Question: My liner seems to be leaking or losing water, any suggestions why?
Answer: A liner can leak for a number of reasons. Most leaks are caused by damage to the vinyl from an outside source. This type of damage can normally be patched using a standard vinyl patching kit sold by pool retailers. Only a seam separation is covered under the warranty. (see Seam Separation). Water loss can also be attributed to evaporation, leaks in the pool pump, filter or plumbing, leaks in one of the gaskets on the skimmer, return jets, pool light, etc.. Contacting a pool professional is the best way to locate why the pool is losing water.

Question: What is a seam separation?
